Devon Certified Preowned Program (CPO) is for pre-owned Devon instruments that have received the Devon Renew Program revitalization. Having been thoroughly inspected, cleaned, renewed, tested, and set-up to the high-quality standards of Devon Bass, you have the added confidence of knowing your bass carries the Devon Bass guarantee of quality workmanship. Since Devon CPO instruments have not been modified from their original build specifications, you can rest assured they look, play and perform as you'd expect a Devon Bass should. Every Devon CPO instrument comes with a one-year warranty against structural, electronic, and hardware malfunction. Devon CPO basses are only available directly from Devon Bass and come with a Devon Renew Certificate of Authenticity.

- How much does it cost to sell through the Devon CPO program?
- While the Devon CPO program is free, each bass is required have a obtained a Devon Renew Certificate of Authenticity within the past 30 days. The Devon Renew program is $499, not including shipping or sales tax.
- Can I sell my Devon Bass through the Devon CPO program?
- If you own a Gen3 or newer model bass, you can sell it through the Devon CPO program on consignment. Older basses may still be eligible, but will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Why should I buy a Devon CPO bass versus a Devon Bass found elsewhere?

- Selling your bass through the Devon CPO program has three unique advantages. - What should I expect if I sell a bass through the Devon CPO program?
- To sell your eligible Devon Bass through the Devon CPO program, you must first ship it in a protective case with protective packing materials to Devon Bass so it may receive the Devon Renew Program revitalization. Payment for Devon Renew program may be deferred until you sell your instrument. After your bass has received the Devon Renew Certificate of Authenticity, it will be priced by Devon Bass and posted for sale on the Devon Bass website social media channels. In the meantime, your bass will remain in the care of Devon Bass in its showroom. While the time it takes to sell your bass may vary depending on the instrument, most basses are sold within a few months.
- My bass has been modified. Can I still sell it through the Devon CPO program?
- Modified Devon Bass instruments are reviewed for eligibility on a case-by-case basis. However, as a general rule of thumb, basses that have had their wood drilled, routed, sanded or sawed in any way are likely not eligible for the Devon CPO program. Modifications to electronics (pickups, preamps, etc) or hardware (bridge, tuners, etc.) may also make a bass ineligible for the program, again on a case-by-case basis.
- Are Aeon Basses available in the Devon CPO program?
- Yes. All Aeon by Devon Bass instruments are available for the Devon CPO program.
- Can I sell a bass of a different brand through the Devon CPO program?
- No.
- Will Devon Bass take a CPO-eligible bass as a trade-in?
- No. Devon Bass does not take trade-ins. However, you are welcome to have Devon Bass put your Devon up for sale through the CPO program as your new bass is being constructed.
- Will Devon Bass buy my instrument from me?
- No. You maintain ownership of your Devon Bass until it sells to another party.
- What happens if I try selling through the Devon CPO program and change my mind?
- It's not a problem if you change your mind and decide to not sell your Devon Bass through the Devon CPO program. However, if you chose to defer payment for the Devon Renew Program, or if the Devon Bass team performed any other work, you will need to pay for these services along with return shipping costs before your bass can be returned to you.
- When will I get paid after selling my bass through the Devon CPO program?
- Once your bass has sold, and the customer's 10-day return term has expired, the proceeds from the sale (less any amount due for Devon Renew Program and shipping costs) will be sent to you electronically.
